What I do for love!
With my final wedding of 2008 behind me and my first of many amazing weddings for 2009 not starting until spring it’s a great time for me to jump into some creative editorial work. I love my editorial as I can play around with new creative photographic and post production techniques! It helps me grow as an artist! The Please Touch Museum located in Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park was the setting for this most inspired creation. What an amazing team she put together. The creative team at Beautiful Blooms did the most amazing flowers. The focus of the shoot was tabletop design but this time we added a model and gowns to the mix. Kendall will be sharing the images of the table décor ideas on her blog in the months to come, so make sure you check her out for wonderful ideas. Mary Helen Ranieri of Suky Occasions provided the most beautiful gowns and Claudia Seyler provided the hair and makeup for our model Oksana. I’d though I’d share with you some of the model images. I’m so excited as I have a bridal editorial shoot scheduled in NYC next week. Winter is fun!!!

Nashat + Vinodh 12.20.08 (Part 3)
It’s always such a pleasure to photograph a wedding that the talented Nancy Saam has had her fingers in. They are always so varied yet so beautiful! Nashat and Vinodh reception at the beautiful ballroom of the Ritz-Carlton in Philadelphia was a sparking winter wonderland. I adored the 6 foot branches that Nancy attached ice crystals to. After a most romantic first dance and toasts from the couples parents, Nashat, Vinodh and all their guests partied the night away!

Nashat + Vinodh 12.20.08 (Part 2)
It was a very cold December day so Nashat + Vinodh did not to go “around town” for their portraits, but who needs to go around town when you have Broad Street Philadelphia right outside the door of the Ritz Carlton in Philly! Their ceremony was tastefully decorated by Nancy Saam but stay tuned for the reception where Nancy pulls out all the stops.

Nashat + Vinodh 12.20.08 (Part 1)
My final wedding of 2008 was most fittingly “blingalicious”. Talk about ending the year with a bang…… check out Nashats amazing foot jewelry, otherwise known as Rene Caovilla shoes. I can’t believe how perfectly they matched with her gown. And her dress was oh so amazing. It was made by the famous Indian bridal gown designer Tarun Tahiliani who was the designer who made Elizabeth Hurleys gown for her wedding ceremony in India. The gown was all hand embroidered in gold, silver and copper threads. I have no idea of how many hours and artisans it took to make but I’m sure it was an incredible team effort. I told Nashat that the gown was so special that it looked like it should be on display in a textile museum. WOW! Nashat prepared at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Philadelphia, which was the site for her ceremony and reception. Claudia Seyler once again worked her magic with hair and makeup. The beautiful invitations and paper goods were designed by Beka Nave of Innove Events. As many of my followers will remember I photographed her own wedding this past September. Stay tuned for an amazing ceremony and reception!

Emelia + Jay Philadelphia Wedding Magazine
Congratulations to Emelia and Jay on the beautiful feature article of their Appleford Estate wedding in the current issue of Philadelphia Wedding Magazine. Getting a wedding featured is always special and it takes a very special team to get everything perfect.

Sarah + Glenn 12.06.08 (Part 2)
I’ve been so busy with all my holiday festivities that I have been a little “backblogged” with my blogging. Sorry everyone and I hope you are all having a happy and warm holiday season! I thought I’d post a few more from Sara and Glenns magnificent wedding day. After a beautiful evening ceremony at the Nassau Presbyterian Church in Princeton, NJ their reception was at the historic Nassau Inn of Princeton. This was a very special location for the pair as Glenn proposed to Sarah last Christmas Eve by the huge lit Christmas tree in front of the Nassau Inn. Sarah and Glenn went outside to recreate this very special memory. I also wanted to mention a new “Wedding song alert”!!! Sarah wanted to do a bouquet toss for all her single friends. The band started to play “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” by Beyoncé. I think this is a perfect bouquet toss song and I’m sure I’ll be hearing more of it in my 2009 wedding!

These images are so beautiful. That first photo is my favorite. So glamorous and so much fun!
