A Little More Italy
Having recovered from jet lag and caught up on all my album orders I thought I’d start editing some of my Italy images. The country is just a total work of art waiting to happen. I’m not even half way through! We all know what the beautiful travel pictures look like. I thought I’d share a few “hidden treasures”. Stay tuned for some more later this week.

Mindy + Ben Featured in Brides Philadelphia Magazine
Congratulations to Mindy and Ben on the beautiful feature article of their Philadelphia wedding in the current issue of Brides Philadelphia Magazine. I’ve been blessed with so many “featured” weddings this year, with many more to come. I know it takes a very special team to get everything perfect. Donna O’Brien of Beautiful Blooms designed the most beautiful florals. Always a perfect pairing! Kudos also to Vanessa of Two Paper Dolls on the exceptional stationary and Claudia Seyler on the beautiful Makeup and hair. I can’t wait to work with you all again!

Alyssa + James Featured in (201) Bride
Congratulations to Alyssa and James on the lovely feature article of their wedding in the current issue of (201) Bride Magazine. It’s a first time for me being featured in the magazine which highlights the best of weddings in Northern New Jersey. Their beautiful wedding reception was held at the Stony Hill Inn in Hackensack, NJ.

And We’re Back!

What a marvelous adventure! From the canals of Venice, to the rustic hilltop towns of Sicily to the hypnotic blue waters of Capri our trip was everything we hoped for and more. As with all my tours, it is the wonderful people we meet that I remember the most and the warm and expressive people of Italy gave us much to remember. I was not able to blog as much as many of our hotels have uber slow internet. Hopefully I will be able to share some of our images this winter.

Our Vacation in Ruins!

So sorry about the lack of blogging but we have encountered very little sleep and very little internet access. I guess you could say we are having a most wonderful adventure! The images of this wonderful land and just so amazing it’s going to take forever to sort through them all. I found a little time today to put up a few tourist shots for family. Caio from Sicily!

Grand Tour - Pisa and Venice Edition!

If it’s Tuesday we must be in…….Venice! What a whirlwind these tours can be, and combined with a bad case of jet lag and very hot weather, I have not been up to me blogging self! What amazing sights to see. I found a little time to post a few of the sights we have been seeing for family and friends. We adored the City of Florence but Venice totally captured out hearts. I’ll be working on artistic images of this gorgeous city for years to come. Tomorrow we are off to Assisi for a little mountain air! Ciao!!

Zac almost knocked down this big tower we found. I got him to stop.

Zac looking very “continental”!
Ciao Roma!

On our way to the Forum….. oops, I meant on our way to dinner we passed by the Forum. I’m not very clever with words right now as we are both very sleep deprived. Our tour started tomorrow but we did a few drive bys. Zac and I already know this adventure is going to be amazing! We will have much to share!

Marie + Zac’s European Adventure – Part 2)

Today Zac and I are off on our Grand Tour of Italy. Last year we had the tour of a lifetime visiting London and Paris. It was in Paris that Zac fell in love. He fell in love with the beautiful historic city and its people. He wanted to stay in Paris and send for his parents! I assured him that there are many great cities of the world to see and if he likes “old” he is going to love Italy. I’m going to try to post some images of our adventure every couple of days so family and friends can see the marvelous things we are up to. Note to self: post on blog at least every two days. Ciao!

Can you fall in love with a cake? I think I did! What a simply beautiful creation. It just made me happy to look at it. The cake was by Gail Watson Cakes of NYC. I hope to see more of her beautiful cakes at my weddings! The ballroom of The Pleasantdale Château was looking most beautiful. I just loved the arrangements by Crest Florist. The room looked so wispy! Perfect for a summer evening!

OK, so does this bridal party pair know how to to make an entrance? Talk about striking a pose.

Michaels rugby team also knew how to strike a pose!

You know I’m always happy when I find a pretty pair of wedding “Choos” to photograph. Melissa had a very sweet pair of Jimmy Choos combined with a very lovely gown by Augusta Jones. I just adore cap sleeves! I loved Melissa’s reaction when she say herself in the mirror for the first time. The couple were married at a very beautiful church in New Brunswick, NJ called Saint Mary of Mount Virgin. The lighting and architecture was just perfect! We then traveled to one of my favorite venues for a wedding, The Pleasantdale Château. The gorgeous estate and it’s grounds are just so magical, like a fairytale. Check back for an amazing reception.

OK, so little boys in kilts are off the Richter scale of cuteness!!!! AHHHHHH!

Your photos of Italy are beautiful! It was great talking to you today!
