Jill + Peter 09.19.09 Part 1
Well, you know my heart went all aflutter when I arrived to see these picture perfect Christian Louboutin shoes! They were just so lush! And if that were not enough to satisfy my shoe passion all the bridesmaids wore these adorable orange satin pumps by Glint! Last year I photographed Jills sisters wedding so it was so nice to see the whole family again. I have done quite a few “sister” weddings in my day, but this was a first for me…. Both sisters had their reception at the same location, the Union League of Philadelphia. Jill wore a very sleek gown by Priscilla of Boston. Up to the last minute she was undecided about wearing her mother mantilla veil. She did want a picture with the veil but decided to not to wear it for the day. I’ll be sharing more of their beautiful details throughout the week!

I tell everyone how beautiful the park around the corner from my house is, waterfall and all. Is this couple too cute! It rained on their engagement shoot so I think this guarantees them a sunny wedding day! I will be photographing their very grand wedding next September at the Four Seasons in Philadelphia. Can’t wait!
Meredith + Michael 09.05.09 The Reception
As I said in the last post, Andalusia was picture perfect on it’s own, but with the elegant florals and décor by Beautiful Blooms it was just so full of country charm. Meredith had a vision of simple country charm in white and I think it was perfectly executed. Everyone danced the night away to the fab music of the Sid Miller Dance Band. I must say they possess some of the best singers and musicians!
Meredith + Michael 09.05.09 The Portraits
It was my first time photographing a wedding at Andalusia and it was such a delight. It’s beautiful Greek Revival architecture, mature gardens and spectacular views of the Delaware River made it a photographers dream. What a perfect setting it was for my elegant couple, Meredith and Michael. They had so many varied and beautiful portraits I thought I would do a post dedicated to portraits. Check back later this week for their beautiful garden cocktail hour and tented reception.
Meredith + Michael 09.05.09 Part 1
I knew it was love when I saw Merediths very unique Pnina Tornai gown. She had Kleinfelds in NYC customize her gown with cap sleeves. I think that cap sleeves are one of the most feminine and flattering of styles. Meredith had an amazing chignon hair style executed perfectly by Jason Tavares of Pierre & Carlo Salon in Philadelphia. I adored it! Meredith had a beautiful classic design to all her wedding stationary, the acorn to the oak. Her letterpress stationary was all designed by Two Paperdolls. Meredith even presented her groom with a pair of cufflinks with their signature mighty tree. Meredith and Michaels wedding was held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church in Moorestown, NJ, a beautiful and colorful historic church. I can wait to show you their beautiful reception at the most beautiful estate, Andalusia.

What a wonderful August adventure we had in Italy. It was difficult saying goodbye! I had such fun editing all our pictures but I’m finally done. I’m totally looking forward to our adventure next August. We are planning on visiting some of the eastern European countries, which are the countries of our heritage. We are planning on a little Poland, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic and possibly Germany. I hope we are not being too ambitious! I’m ready to start photographing my beautiful Fall wedding season tomorrow and I’ll have such a special venue to share with you all next week. For now I thought I share with you a few more of my Italian favorites. Arrivederci!
