Carly + Dan Featured in Philadelphia Wedding
Who could forget Carly and Dan’s gorgeous wedding from last fall. Carly’s Monique Lhuillier gown captured the hearts of many of my followers as it did the editor of Philadelphia Wedding! The couple was so adorable as they strolled the grounds of Gibraltar Gardens in Wilmington, DE prior to their ceremony and reception the Hotel DuPont in Wilmington. Her flowers and decor was by Beautiful Blooms and making Carly “picture perfect” was hair and makeup artist, Claudia Seyler. Thanks Carly for the kind words in the article! Outrageous Wedding Photo on The Knot
I was a little apprehensive the photo editor of The Knot emailed me that one of my wedding photos was being featured as one of the “10 Most Outrageous Wedding Photos” on the Knot. Yikes, I like to think I’m not noted for my outrageous photos! Happily I found it to be one of my favorite wedding pet photos ever. This dashing gentleman just loved his tux and wore it all evening!
Carolyn and Stephen Featured in The Knot Pennsylvania
Hot off the presses – Carolyn and Stephens beautiful Philadelphia wedding is featured in the current issue of The Knot Pennsylvania. This was the first wedding I photographed at The Franklin Institute and what an amazing venue it is. The lighting and décor for their wedding was just so amazing thanks to the combined efforts of Leila Miller of Eclatante Design and Beautiful Blooms. Baby Shower Featured on Hostess Blog
Oh baby, what a shower! Last month I had the treat of photographing one of the most incredible and creative baby showers ever! It’s just a treasure trove of ideas for a baby shower and I’m sure it will inspire everyone. The event was created by Melissa Paul of Evantine Design and its being featured on the “Hostess With the Mostess” blog this week. In the posts on HWTM, Melissa shares with us her inspiration and all the many inventive details that went into the shower. There are so many details it’s a 3 part story. So far 2 have been featured. The guests were treated to a beauty bar, a sugar bar and of course, a real bar. One of my favorites, ice water served in baby bottles! Too cute! You can check out Melissa’s story in Part 1 and Part 2. The shower took place at a very urban chic Star Restaurant space in Philadelphia called Washington Square and the catering by Stephen Starr Events was as creative as Melissa’s details. Check out the mini grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters! This was one lucky mother and baby!
Jill + Peter Featured in Philadelphia Magazine Online
Congratulations to Jill and Peter on the beautiful feature of their September 2009 wedding on Philadelphia Magazine Online, and what a spectacular wedding it was. The Union League was all aglow with the magnificent styling and decor by Lynda Barness of I Do Wedding Consulting. I was so happy to see this wedding featured. Floral Feature in B Wedding Magazine
What a treat it was to arrive back from my 3 weeks in Key West and find a most beautiful publication waiting for me in the mail. What a gorgeous publication all the way from Ireland, B Wedding Magazine. The quality of this magazine was over the top beautiful. Their editor had asked to use some of my images for a feature story awhile back, but I must say I was astounded by how artistically they incorporated the images in their story. I adore how they used the poetic quotes. These innovative centerpieces were brought to life by florist Beautiful Blooms. The centerpieces were actually from a Bat Mitzvah with the theme of Cities of the world, but you can see how well they can translate to a wedding. I was so impressed with this beautiful publication. I might just have to go to Ireland and do my first European wedding.
Valentines Day at Innove
Happy Valentines Day! Some of you may remember Beka Rendell of the beautiful Beka and Jesse wedding and the national feature of her wedding in Brides Magazine. Well, as some of you know, Beka is also a most talented event planner in Philadelphia. Her company, Innove Events had some exciting changes this year and I went by to visit her. Innove Events has moved it’s offices to Old City Philadelphia and has joined forces with the talented Kimberly Fink who has been in the event industry for over 10 years. What a hot team these two are making! They styled a little Valentines day shoot when I visited and WOW was it cute. So cute in fact that it was featured on the front page of the amazing wedding blog Style Me Pretty. Can’t wait to see the amazing things they have in store for me to photograph in the coming year. Stephanie + Charles featured in The Knot New York Magazine
And yet another feature wedding in The Knot! It shows how blessed I am with so many truly beautiful and creative weddings. We need more magazines for my couples! Stephanie and Charles charming vineyard wedding in Long Island, NY was certainly a blog favorite back in the Summer of 2008. Who could not adore their sunset ceremony at the Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard. Their reception was held without a tent and their guests all dined at long tables under the stars! I love risk takers. Hot off the presses - Jacqueline and Julian’s beautiful Bonnet Island wedding is featured in the current issue of The Knot New Jersey. This is my third wedding at Bonnet Island that has been featured in a magazine! It is just such an amazing venue. It’s such an honor to be featured in The Knot, and currently I have real weddings featured in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York issue simultaneously! Well, how could it not bring a smile to my face when someone thinks I’m phenomenal! Junebug Weddings is an amazing wedding blog from sunny California. I’m always lusting over those “Forever Sunny” wedding days out in California and Junebug certainly features the best of them. Check them out for some beautiful wedding inspirations. They were sweet enough to feature one of my favorite images of last year, Janell and Jonathans May wedding at Jasna Polana in Princeton. Thanks Junebug!
