Danielle + Michael 06-15-07
Congratulations to Danielle and Michael on the beautiful feature article of their wedding in the current issue of The Knot New Jersey. A 6 page spread…VERY NICE! The couple was married last year at the always magnificent Bonnet Island Estate. In the bridal party was Philadelphia wedding planner Melody Appel of Innove Events. Melody not only designed the beautiful starfish invitations, but she was there to help Danielle along the way designing such a beautiful event. It’s nice to have a friend who is an event planner! Michelle + Mark 10-27-07
Congratulations to Michelle and Mark on the lovely feature article of their wedding in the current issue of Contemporary Bride Magazine. Michelle, who modeled in college was a former “cover girl” of Contemporary Bride Magazine and they loved being able to feature her on her “real wedding day”. The couple was married at Saint John the Baptist Ukrainian Church and their reception was held at The Shadowbrook in Shrewsbury, NJ.

I just found out that I was voted one the best wedding photographers in New Jersey in The Knot’s 2008 Best of Weddings issue.
And the Winner is…
WPPI, an international Wedding and Portrait Photography Organization held their annual print competition in Las Vegas last month and I just found out I won 3 Accolades of Excellence (which translates to awards). This year WPPI had over 2700 print entries from photographers all around the world, so it was quite an honor. Here are my 3 winners. The first one was shot at the Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia. It’s a beautifully decaying prison that is said to be haunted! Yikes!!!

My friend, Janie Medley, asked me to share some of my favorite bridal shoes. Today she has featured some of them on her “ever so popular” wedding blog The Brides Cafe. The coming week will be very busy for me. I have a wedding on Saturday at a sculpture garden, an engagement portrait at a governor’s mansion on Sunday and a great commercial shoot I will be doing for a veil designer. She has designed a new line of bridal headgear for Kleinfelds Bridal. I can’t wait to share all the new images with everyone! Keep checking back!
WPJA Photo Contest Winning Image
The results for the WPJA Q4 2007 photo contest have just been announced and an image I entered from Jennifer + Nicks New Years Eve Wedding at the Pleasantdale Château won in the Reception category. This marked my 5th win in 2007 in this prestigious competition. The Wedding Photojournalists Association is a professional organization composed of wedding photojournalists from around the world. I feel incredibly honored to have placed among some of the best photojournalists around the world.
Amanda + Dan on Bride’s Cafe…. Twice!!!
How exciting! Floral designer Janie Medley of The Bride’s Cafe has a 2 part feature of one of my “FAV” weddings on her gorgeous blog today!!! The wedding of Amanda and Dan at Bartram’s Gardens in Philadelphia was featured in the Summer 2007 issue of Elegant Bride Magazine. The beautiful floral creations were all designed by Donna O’Brien of Beautiful Blooms in Philadelphia. Check out The Brides Cafe blog today for an article I wrote on tips for getting your wedding published in a magazine. If you are planning your wedding, this blog is a definite “not to miss” for planning advice. I was so impressed with the amazing talent that Janie Medley is featuring on her blog every single day. Luisa + Jeff 06.02.07
Hot off the presses…. Luisa and Jeffs beautiful wedding is featured in the current issue of New Jersey Bride magazine. The wedding was held at the grooms parents home in Princeton, NJ. They had so many unique features to their wedding. Helping the couple with all their wedding plans was Beka Nave of Innove Events. The couple reside in Texas, so it was really helpful to have someone locally to help with the local details. Luisa found her Vera Wang gown in her home town of Texas.
