Meghan + Peter
It was a beautiful day for a winter walk in the woods, and what a perfect “woods” it was for Meghan and Peter. Their story so touched my heart that I just had to share it with you. The couple requested that we do their engagement portraits at the Germantown Academy. It seems that back in the 6th grade the couple met when Meghan enrolled. The amazing thing is, they have been together ever since, even attending college together! How special is that; to have a partner in life that you have shared so much history with. In September they will be taking another step on their special journey in life, they will be getting married! Congratulations Meghan and Peter!

Jenna + Tony
OK, is this just the cutest idea for a save the date card? Have your pooch let everyone know. Jenna and Tonys dog was the most well behaved boxer I ever met. He just perfectly posed for his “closeup” (as did his mom and dad)! I wonder if he will be invited to the wedding. The couple will be getting married at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, NJ next Spring. It’s my first time photographing a wedding there and I can’t wait. This past fall Donald Trumps own daughter Ivanka was married at the golf club!

Things to come….
I’ve been so busy with my beautiful 2009 wedding that I have not had the time to post some of my engagement shoots from my 2010 couples. It looks like 2010 is going to be a real banner year for weddings. I have already booked so many fabulous events I can hardly wait! Here are just a few of the couples I will be photographing.

I’m so excited about Jenna and Andrews wedding next fall. Their wedding is going to take place at The Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. What a fabulous place! It comes complete with antique Carousel.

Caitlin and Drew will be getting married next fall the the most beautiful Union League of Philadelphia. I always love my Union League weddings, with the historic architecture of the ballroom and with Wedding Planner Gina Sole I know it’s going to be a very grand affair!

Yet another wedding I’ll be doing with wedding planner Gina Sole, Jennifer and Michael will be getting married at The Park Hyatt Philadelphia at the Bellevue next Summer. Always a location for very grand weddings it’s wrap around balcony makes for the most dramatic reception images. Congratulations to all my 2010 couples!
Holly and John
I tell everyone how beautiful the park around the corner from my house is, waterfall and all. Is this couple too cute! It rained on their engagement shoot so I think this guarantees them a sunny wedding day! I will be photographing their very grand wedding next September at the Four Seasons in Philadelphia. Can’t wait!

Carolyn + Steven
I had a wonderful day at the beach last week with Carolyn and Steven. Steve, a hopeless romantic, wanted their engagement portraits taken on the beach where he proposed to Carolyn, Ocean City, NJ. It’s been rather soggy this summer in the northeast, but they could not have chosen a more perfect day. I hope their wedding in December with be as beautiful! I’ll be photographing their fall wedding at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. The space is just incredible and with Eclatante and Beautiful Blooms working on the décor, I know it’s going to be very grand!

Diana + Noah
I had a fun time last week walking around the Society Hill area of Philadelphia with Diana and Noah. What a charming part of time and we even found a playground with double slides. Diana had her heart set on a Philadelphia mural. I did not realize there there were no murals in that part of town. We drove around and finally found one. Very fall looking, don’t you think? I’m looking forward to photographing Diana and Noahs wedding next spring at The Audubon Center in Audubon, PA. It should be quite an affair as I know wedding planner Kendall Brown of Eclatante will be working her magic on it.

Susan + Tony
Next year I will be photographing Susan and Tonys wedding at Mallard Island Yacht Club down at Long Beach Island, NJ. The couple obviously has a strong appreciation for the arts as they chose to do their engagement portraits at The Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ. It’s one of my favorite locations for portraits and it’s only a 10 minute drive from my home! There are so many imaginative areas for diverse portraits I do get carried away. If all the foliage and sculptures were not enough, a friendly peacock decided to get in the act. He did not budge from his perch when the couple went near. I hope their wedding day is as beautiful as the perfect May morning we had!

Connie + Vincent
As I said, last week I had 2 engagement sessions in Central Park. Connie and Vincent wanted more of a pre-wedding portrait session. The pair are getting married in Hong Kong later this Summer and they wanted some portraits in NYC to share with family and friends at their wedding. We started out in Central Park. Connie and Vincent even took a little boat ride near the Boat House in Central Park. We then went to Times Square at high noon. Not my favorite time of day for portraits but what fun we had. We ran into the iconic “Naked Cowboy“, a first for me.

Carly + Dan
It’s been several years since I photographed any engagement portraits in Central Park in New York City. Last week I got very lucky and had two adorable couples to photograph. First thing in the morning were my portraits with Carly and Dan. They met me at Bethesda Terrace for some really sweet pictures. I especially loved the addition of the saxophone player! I’ll be photographing Carly and Dan’s wedding this coming fall at the Hotel DuPont in Wilmington, DE. Can’t wait. Carly wore Christian Louboutin shoes for her walk in the park. Can’t you imagine what she will have for us on her wedding day!!!

Mindy + Ben
The city of Philadelphia is known for its many murals and there is one that has been “calling” to me for awhile now. I was so fortunate to be photographing an engagement session with Mindy and Ben in the Northern Liberties section of the city so I finally got to photograph it. I just LOVE this backdrop. Mindy said that in graduate school she did a research paper on the murals, so it was all the more meaningful! I’ll be photographing Mindy and Bens urban chic wedding in May. Can’t wait!

How wonderfully romantic! You two are adorable. Congratulations!
