Rachels Amazing Bat Mitzvah 04.25.09

Posted on May 5th, 2009 by Marie Labbancz. Filed in Mitzvahs

It’s not often that I get to photograph Bat Mitzvahs. My wedding photography keeps me so very busy that it’s rare that I’m am ever available for one. I was very fortunate to be commissioned this most beautiful Bat Mitzvah. Last week I shared some images of the beautiful centerpieces from this event. The party was held at the Independence Seaport Museum in Philadelphia and Kendall Brown of Eclatante had so many fun activities for the guests I heard many of Rachel’s young guests saying it was the best party of their lives!!! I was just so impressed with Rachel’s grace and poise during the lighting of candles. What fun she had singing with her band Paris. Will we be seeing her on American Idol in a few years?

Cities of the World

Posted on April 30th, 2009 by Marie Labbancz. Filed in Mitzvahs

What a wonderful adventure I had last weekend photographing a most beautiful Bat Mitzvah at the Independence Seaport Museum in Philadelphia. It was the amazing creation of Kendall Brown of Eclatante Design and Donna O’Brien Of Beautiful Blooms. I wanted to share the very creative idea for table tops that they put together. The theme was cities of the world and every table was a different city with beautiful floral centerpieces depicting the city. Guests were given “boarding passes” to their special destination. I hope to share some more images of the great party with you next week. Bon Voyage!

Hi Marie,

Your photos are gorgeous!!!!! Wish I could take credit but my fabulous team at Beautiful Blooms created the amazing looks. Maya was the team leader on this one and worked with Bill. They really kicked butt!

You brought it all to life.
