Beautiful Choos (OOPS, I meant shoes)
Check these beautiful Vintage Jimmy Choo shoes. I’m not sure if I should call them foot jewelry or shoes! I photographed an amazing bridal portrait last week at The Saint Regis in NYC. I’ll be photographing the brides wedding in May out in the Midwest so I really can’t show you the portraits. Many of my brides want to keep their magnificent grown and details “under wraps” until their big day. I would’nt want her floating around the internet until her big day. I must say, I’m like a kid on Christmas Eve waiting for her big day! I will have so much stunning “eye candy” to photograph that weekend. For now, I’ll share with you her shoes!

Pretty Inspiration
From time to time I do a few editorial shoots for magazines. They are always so much fun and very creative. Last week I did a tabletop shoot for The Bride and Bloom Magazine with florist Donna O’Brien of Beautiful Blooms and event stylist Kendall Brown of Eclatante Event Design They are such an amazing team! I shot three different tabletops all very different. Here are a couple of inspiration boards of their work. Great work Donna and Kendall.

The Squirrels of Princeton are NOT Green!
OK, so winter is a little slow for weddings but I’m trying to get into the habit of of posting to my blog weekly. I’m so excited about my new blog and want to start off with good habits. Starting in March I’ll have tons of great new weddings to share with you all. In February I have two really great commercial shoots that I will have to share with you. One for a top floral and event designer and a beauty shoot for a top makeup artist. Can’t wait!! Today I thought I would share with you a little humorous image of a Princeton squirrel. Princeton is infamous for their squirrels. They are everywhere, grey and black, very friendly and have even been know to invade student dorms. Last November I was photographing a couples wedding portrait on the University campus and this Ivy squirrel walked by us carrying his winter stash in a plastic cup!!!!! I guess he didn’t know plastics was not great for the environment….. or maybe he was recycling!

Let them eat cake….
I had such fun Sunday afternoon photographing cakes for a former bride of mine, Seanee. She is starting up an online cake business and asked if I would photograph her cakes. All the recipes are special family secrets. I like cake and I like photography. What a great combination. After the shoot I got to eat cake!
[…] fun. I was photographing the wedding of Romi, who was the bride who belonged to the great pair of Jimmy Coo Vintage shoes. I photographed her bridal portrait several months back at The Saint Regis Hotel in NYC. I loved […]
