A Collectors Table
Check out this recent event I photographed for Evantine Design. It took place at the very “Urban” headquarters of Urban Outfitters in Philadelphia. Today it being featured on one of my favorite blogs, Elizabeth Anne Designs. Designer Melissa Paul of Evantine put together this eye candy of collector tins filled with an awesome array a varied flowers. Combine that with rustic wood long tables and I was in love. You can see more images from this event along with some more info about the event from Melissa Paul at Elizabeth Anne Designs Blog! It really provides some great inspiration of how to incorporate your collections into your wedding day!

Springtime Inspirations
Check out this beautiful Easter shoot I recently did with Beka Rendell and Kimberly Fink of Innove Events at the Morris House Hotel in Philadelphia. With so much exciting springtime inspiration, it was featured on the most beautiful blog Elizabeth Anne Designs. You can check out the full feature at the EAD website. The gorgeous springtime flowers were provided by Table Art and the adorable cupcakes were from the Whipped Bake Shop. Enjoy the inspiration!

Party at R2L
I recently photographed the décor for a party at the new restaurant R2L in Philadelphia. It was my first time there and it was a fantastic location for a very special party like a bridal shower or rehearsal dinner. On the 37th floor of 2 Liberty Place, the restaurant offers full panoramic views of the city. The décor for this urban chic event was superbly designed by Evantine Design. I absolutely fell in love with the glittery table overlays. It was a feast for the eyes!

Summer at Winterthur
With yet another snow storm in the northeast, I thought I’d dig up some beautiful summer imagery to remind everyone that summer will eventually return. Winterthur Museum & Country Estate is located in Winterthur, DE and is a most magical location for a wedding. Last summer I did an amazing editorial shoot with Beautiful Blooms. Some of you may remember the beautiful fashion images from this shoot that I shared with everyone. This stunning bar at the reflecting pool at Winterthur was nothing short of amazing and I hope it is a source of inspiration. My next wedding is not until April so I hope to share with everyone some inspiring ideas that I don’t often have time to share throughout my busy wedding season.

Eve + Richard 01.23.10 The Details
One of the more creative locations for a wedding in Philadelphia is the “new” Trust. Formally known as FUEL house and formally the MTV Real World house it was originally a bank. It’s the sort of venue were you can really shake up the wedding rules and Eve and Richard certainly did. Prior to their ceremony was a cocktail hour followed by delicious stations after the ceremony. It’s been way too long since I’ve worked with event planner Melissa Paul of Evantine Design and what a striking, warm and glowing ambiance they created. Check out the amazing long tables; gosh I adore long tables! I also love the sheer glittery chair covers. I’ve never seen them before and hey just glowed! Equally beautiful and tasty was the food of Peachtree & Ward Catering. Stay tuned for a very heartfelt ceremony and reception.

A Very Handsome Gentleman!
Everyone knows how much I adore photographing the beautiful details of weddings, especially all the lush flowers. Donna O’Brien of Beautiful Blooms and I were brainstorming one night about developing our own line of floral greeting cards for her new Beautiful Blooms Boutique in Philadelphia. Because we both love a challenge, we decided to start with some florals on her beautiful Bernese Mountain dog TJ. Many days TJ is in her boutique to lovingly great visitors. Everyone just loves him, including myself. Here are a few of my favorite pictures. We hope that these cards will really take off so that we can start donating a percentage of the money made to PAWS. Also, if you are ever in the location of Northern Liberties in Philadelphia, check out Donna European style flower shop. It has everything from lavender, soaps, vases ad of course, flowers!

Baby Portraits of Aiden!
Babies are so darn cute, especially when they have the sweet disposition of little Aiden. I was at the grand opening of Eclatante and Beautiful Blooms new Boutiques in Liberties Walk in Philadelphia and Kendall Browns adorable little grandson Aiden was there to wish her well. I snapped a few photos of the little doll. I really should photograph more babies. It makes me smile!

Proud grandpa!
Beautiful Blooms Boutique
I just wanted to give a “shout out” to my florist friend Donna O’Brien of Beautiful Blooms. As many of you may notice I do quite a few amazing weddings with her each year. Well, being an extraordinary entrepreneur, Donna just opened up a floral boutique in Liberties Walk in Philadelphia. I dropped by the other day and was just blown away by all the eye candy. She has everything from candles, vases, books and of course, flowers. I wish her great success in her new venture. If you are ever in Philadelphia and might need a gift or two definitely check out her new boutique at 1021 N. 3rd Street, Philadelphia!

This is Donnas little guy TJ. He was just visiting for the day and can be brought in by special request but he is definitely not for sale!

I adore these sweet little arrangements she is offering.

More Fresh!
As I said a few days ago, I was in aesthetic heaven at the 2009 Industry Showcase of the Philadelphia chapter of ISES. I thought I’d share some images of this amazing assembly of Philadelphia talent. I know my couples are always looking for new and “Fresh” design ideas and vibrant color were definitely the story of the day! Event designers, florists and caterers combined their efforts in pods and competed for the “Grand prize”! I know you will agree that they were all winners! I’m not even going to try to mentions all the wonderful vendors, but if there is any design you would like to know the specifics about you can shoot me off an email! Enjoy!

Say Yes to the Dress
I was in aesthetic heaven at the 2009 Industry Showcase of the Philadelphia chapter of ISES. It’s the most amazing feast of event talent I’ve ever seen in one place. They had everything from event designers, florists, caterers, and even talking robots! I took so many images of the event it will take me a little while to edit them all. I should have some great images to share with you all next week. The true highlight of the evening for me was getting to meet the cast of one of my favorite reality shows “Say Yes to the Dress”! You all know what an extreme fashionista I am when it comes to wedding attire. I NEVER miss an episode (thank goodness for TIVO)! I’m just so addicted to this show. I often think if I ever changed careers it would be selling amazing gowns at Kleinfelds. Well, I’ve already been an actress, singer, social worker, therapist and wedding photographer! Who knows! Well anyway. I got to meet Mara, Randy and Nicole of Kleinfelds. They were just so gracious and every bit as sweet as they appear on the show. My friend Dave Williams of Dvideography shot this picture of me and Mara (the owner of Kelinfelds). Thanks Dave! Sorry about my scruffy hair. Sometimes I get that way when I’m photographing.

thank you so much for sharing your amazing photos and the talent of kimberly and beka with me!
xoxo
