Victoria + Monica 07.04.10 - The Party!
Tory and Monica had a vision for their wedding celebration of Miami Beach (Monica) meets New England(Tory) with a touch of NYC diversity (both) put in the mix. The reception tent was decorated with succulents and candles with Edison light bulbs lighting the tent. There was a bonfire seating area for guests and a beer wagon draped in red white and blue full of Budweiser on tap. A cigar roller was there to provide guests with hand rolled “Cuban” cigars. With their party “Cowboy boots” on the couple partied the night away!

Victoria + Monica 07.04.10 - Some More Portraits
After a little time alone in the boathouse, Tory’s dad offered to take the couple for a little ride on the family’s prized Hinckley Picnic Boat. What fun! It was just a perfect 4th of July. After our ride Tory and Monica returned to the boathouse and put on the wedding “cowboy boots” to prepare for an evening of festive dancing!

Victoria + Monica 07.04.10 - The Ceremony
Tory and Monica were married on the lawn of Hayden’s Point. With the river and trees as the backdrop for there ceremony there was such a beautiful simplicity to it. It’s all that was really needed. The couple, their bridal party and their photographer were all barefoot in the grass. Tory’s dad walked the brides to the minister. After the ceremony the couple went off to the boathouse for a little alone-time as married women. Their guests were invited to another tent to begin the reception festivities. More to come!

Victoria + Monica 07.04.10 - Some Portraits
Tory and Monica wanted to do a few portraits prior to their wedding ceremony. I particularly loved their wedding shoes, barefoot in the grass. One of my favorites. They chose very different bridal bouquets, artfully done by Joe Marini of River. The bridal party wore lovely navy blue J.Crew dresses combined with summery yellow bouquets. The couple and their bridal party retired to the home while their guests were treated to a cocktail hour prior to the ceremony. More to come!

Victoria + Monica 07.04.10 - The Preperations
What a fabulous 4th of July I had this year! Can you imagine, not one, but TWO Claire Pettibone gowns! I must be dreaming, someone pinch me! While shopping for their gowns with Tory’s mom at Kleinfeld Bridal in NYC the couple both fell in love with the gowns of Claire Pettibone, though very different styles. How perfect! There was no other date than July 4th for Tory and Monica to be married. It was the date of their first kiss 4 years ago and it was the date they have always celebrated as their anniversary. The wedding was held at Tory’s family’s riverfront estate in Connecticut, Hayden’s Point. Everyone’s makeup and hair was beautifully done by Kerry-Lou Brehm of New York City. While everyone prepared upstairs, Torys aunt was busy making the couples cake in the basement! Both brides dressed separately with their bridal party and met privately on the lawn of Hayden’s Point for some pictures. Stay tuned for more beauty and romance to come!

So much love… so little time!
This has been a banner Summer for so many charming weddings, engagements and editorial shoots. I been so busy shooting and working on the images (OCD), that I have not had time to share them all with you. August has arrived and that means it’s that time of year for Round 3 of my Grand tour. When I return I’ll have many beauties to share with you, but for now, it’s packing time! Please stay tuned for the story of my latest adventure!

Jennifer+ Michael 07.10.10
Jennifer and Michael had some very lovely details to their day. Their ceremony and reception were held in the same ballroom at the Bellevue. That’s quite a feat to make the transformation in just an hour. The team of Gina Sole and Table Art made the transition go very smoothly. I particularly loved the flowers set in ice on the guest card table and the couples initials made of flowers on the backs of their chairs. Jennifer got a little too playful during the cake cutting but Michael got her back with a big kiss!

Jennifer + Michael 07.10.10 - Portraits
Though it rained most of the morning it was down to a drizzle when we departed for some portraits in Old City Philadelphia. We were able to “lose the umbrella” in a very short time. The lovely bouquets were by Table Art! Check back for a beautiful ceremony and reception at the Bellevue!

Jennifer + Michael 07-10-10 - The Preperations
The day started out with a little rain, but we had high hopes that it would stop for our pictures around the city of Philadelphia. Jennifer and Michaels wedding was held at the very grand Hyatt at the Bellevue in downtown Philadelphia. The couple were the same height and Jennifer found the most beautiful pair of ballerina slippers by Aruna Seth of London! Just stunning! Her Vineyard Collection gown by Priscilla of Boston gave her the 40’s movie starlet look she was going for. Check out the veil with the sweet flowers. Her mother made the matching flowers for her hair that would match her veil. The ever so talented Claudia Seyler did a beautiful job with Jennifer’s hair and makeup. When Jennifer and Michael went to see each other for their first revel Jennifer brought along a little liberty bell for their first kiss. Philadelphia is a city dear to their hearts. Michael is actually part of the coaching support staff for the Philadelphia Eagles, so you know they have allot of Philadelphia pride. Also wonderful to work with again was wedding planner Gina Sole. You will see more of her beautiful work later!

Caitlin + Sam 06.24.10 - Part 2
Well I admit, it’s my first time photographing a couple with Sasquatch! How romantic! Bear Creak Mountain Resort was full of rustic charm. After some couple pictures Caitlin when and changed into her “party dress”. A beautiful Vineyard Collection by Priscilla of Boston. What a great swing it had for dancing. And check out her adorable dancing shoes. It’s always good to have advice and Caitlin had her 3rd grade class provide advice for how to be a good husband and a good wife! Some of her guests really knew how to romantically utilize a chocolate fountain. Yumm!

Looks Like everyone had a ton of fun
