Bridal Fashion (Part 2)
What fun I had several weeks ago in New York photographing the latest in bridal headpieces and veils. One again I was very fortunate to photograph some of the newest creations of milliner, Holly Slayton of Artikal. Hollys headpieces can be purchased directly through her and they are also available through Kleinfelds in New York. The beautiful gowns were provided by Suky Occasions of Philadelphia. What fun we had with models Olivia and Olga! Hair and makeup for the shoot was provided by the always amazing Claudia Seyler. Claudia’s talent never ceases to amaze me. She just creates look after look for me to photograph. Stay tuned for some bathing suit and lingerie shots from this session in a week or so.

Jessica + Jason 10-03-08 (Part 1)
Well, the big day finally arrived for “our” Jessica. As some of you may know, Jessica has been a photographer for Marie Labbancz Photography for over 6 years. From the very beginning I’ve seen Jessica’s love of “all things wedding”! I remember she would “collect” little things like favorite place cards and such, planning for her eventual wedding. With all that planning, Jessica and Jasons charming country wedding at Fonthill Castle in Doylestown, PA was so very special. I’m going to have to do a multi-edition to show everything. When I arrived at her door I almost did not recognize her. Jessica was transformed into a retro sophisticated woman with a perfect custom birdcage veil by milliner, Holly Slayton of Artikal. I knew for a long time about her perfect Legends by Romona Keveza gown which was so perfectly fitted by Suky Occasions. Jessica made all her stationary for her wedding. Her theme was black & white polka dot and green. I have the invitation here and will share all the polka dot stationary for the reception later! Stay tuned for the couple portraits!

Check you Jessicas amazing wedding shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti, just stunning and with 3 inch heals. Perfect for all you “tall” brides! She wore vintage marcasite jewelry. A true retro fashionista!

Jessica and Jason exchanged wedding gifts prior to seeing each other on their wedding day. Jill and I were with Jessica and Megan photographed Jason. Jessica gave Jason a copy of “Guess How Much I Love You”. Jessica said it’s one of Jasons favorite “bedtime stories”. AHHHHH!

Jessica and Jason seeing each other for the first time at Fonthill Castle!

Jessica says “Come back for Part 2 of the story!”
Bridal Fashion - Part 2
I adore everything about weddings, but I must confess a particular “passion” for bridal fashion. I think some of my brides think I’m a little strange when I can rattle off the designer of brides that I photographed over 6 years ago. (A girl just remembers those things) Anyway, as some of you may remember, several months back I shared with you some images that I photographed of the beautiful bridal headgear of milliner, Holly Slayton of Artikal. (Then my outrageously busy wedding season began) It was a marvelous shoot with hair and makeup provided by Claudia Seyler who you all know I adore. The gorgeous gown for the shoot were provided by Jennifer’s Bridal in Hockessin, Delaware. What a fab selection she has. Thank you Jennifer! I finally had a few minutes free from my VERY busy schedule to work on a few more images to share with you. Editorial so creative and really helps me grow artistically for myself as an artist, and my couples. Enjoy!

Bridal Hair Fashion
As many of my brides know, a veil is no longer the only option to adorn your locks on your wedding day. From birdcage veils to feathered combs the possibilities are endless. Yesterday I was very fortunate to photograph some of the beautiful bridal headgear of milliner, Holly Slayton of Artikal. Holly has been designing hats and bridal veils for many years and her bridal headgear was just picked up by Kleinfelds Bridal. You go Holly! What fun we had! I took so many images during the 6 hour shoot and it’s going to take me several weeks before I’m finished working on them all. I picked out a few of my initial favorite head shots to share with you (as a teaser). I’ll have some more images to share from this shoot in the coming weeks. Wait until you see the magnificent gowns! Hair and makeup for the shoot was provided by the always amazing Claudia Seyler. Claudia’s talent never ceases to amaze me. She just creates look after look for me to photograph. We have such fun doing our editorial shoots together. It’s sort of like we are 6 years girls old again dressing our Barbie dolls. Our beautiful model was Anelisa, an actress from NYC. Her expressive eyes made the shoot so varied and beautiful. Thanks everyone for this really creative and fun day!

I just love the hair pieces! Your work is beautiful!
Love the full length shots against these rad backgrounds!!
