An important factor in describing the service I offer to my clients is optimization. As an artist and a wedding photojournalist I believe that the entire story of the day is important. From the preparations, the details, the romantic moments a couple shares together, a mothers glance, right down to the rumpus fun of the reception party. After each wedding I spend upwards of 20 hours evaluating every image of the day and make the needed adjustments to color, creating black & white images with a fine art tonal range, minor retouching, as needed and adding fine art effects to some selected images. My couples receive between 1,200 to 1,600 images of their day and all have been personally enhanced by me. When I began photographing weddings back in 1999 I used all film. I spent many hours in my darkroom creating artful final images for my couples. Over the years I slowly transitioned into digital photography because I saw amazing opportunity that digital technology offered me. I can now offer my couples the quality of a final print in their first edition prints. I want your whole story to be beautiful and perfect, not just the 100 or so images you might include in your final wedding album. I see the entire story of your wedding day as a legacy to be passed down through generations, and I want it to be a beautiful memory. Here are a few examples of my before and after enhancement.... |
